Asking a stupid monkey-business question...
How do you guys like my choice of avatar? Is it too effeminate? What does this 36x36 pixel .gif image say about me as a forum-goer?

Avatar aside, it's gay to ask us what we think of it.
And also, we don't know you well enough yet. It may be perfectly appropriate, or it may be ironically hip, or it may just be stupid.

Okay...I've got an image of you now - from your posts, not your avatar. Young, probably a teenager. Intelligent, enthusiastic and full of ideas, but has difficulty distinguishing good ideas from bad ones.Oracle wrote:How do you guys like my choice of avatar? Is it too effeminate? Socially awkward, but worried about how people percieve you - keen to make a good impression, but nervous that you won't.
Oh, and the avatar is sugar-candy and inoffensive. It's better to appear effeminate than unpleasant.
If you want to introduce yourself...tell us a bit about yourself. And make some of your music for us.

what you didn't know...
Unfortunately, noone got the Fight Club referance.
As for the .gif? It's at the top of Yahoo!'s website...
I'm in my mid twenties, am a salesman by trade, and intended this thread as a joke.

Ever see Casablanca?
I was paraphrasing the scene in the beginning where he describes the "Ikea Nesting Instinct"... Unfortunate that that is all that remains of the novel's excellent indications of The Narrator's enormous credit card debt.
As for your reply?
I respond well to clever humor.
Slippy, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
