Score! Free mic stand on the side of the road! Submitting a research paper today. And it's Hostess' turn to drop off/pick up the kids. Birds singing, sun shining, dead spots on the lawn filling in...

Hey y'all.
The day is uneventful so far. I wish I could find musical equipment on the side of the road.
QotD:
If Songfight had music videos, what song would you love to see a video of?

It's the boss's birthday today. Lots of Hawaiian-themed* food in the break room, people.
Tonight I'm playing at Gilligan's in Moultonborough, NH. It's an early show, so start driving soon.
QotD: For a while there, I was gonna relearn Flash just to make a Starfinger - More Than Soup cartoon video. It'll never happen.
*for no reason I can deduce.

My day has gotten better with the addition of free pizza and the new YYY EP. I have officially declared YYY one of my favorite bands. The more I listen to them, the more I love them.
There are a few songs from SF that I would love to see visualized:
"Crinkle Binkle" by FBF (something very effectsy ala "Trouble" by Coldplay)
"Foam Rubber" by Jute Gyte
"That's Not What I Need" by #
Hell, I just would love to see SF Music Videos period.

My bosses’ boss heard the term “web service” and quickly got a boner.
Now I got 2 web services to build by next Friday. Crap.
Vacation time is over…
As for the music video question am constantly coming up with music videos in my head for songs am currently listening to. Frisbees’ “wedding song” is one I can still clearly remember how the music video played in my head.
Depending on how they turn out (and free time), I might make more of them for SF on a regular basis.
I’ll second the Jute Gyte, most of his songs deserve some kind of visual stimulation.

Am currently working on 2 videos for “sugar shaker” and having fun doing so.Niveous wrote: "Foam Rubber" by Jute Gyte

QOTD - I started thinking about this, and decided that a representative video from all artists would be very cool. Like a little 30 second commercial for everyone, but all artsy fartsy or whatever. Click on the name and bloop: a non-corporate sponsored WreckdoM montage pops up. Then again, maybe that should happen for whoever you click on.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

A full day for me
I can't/wont let the stress get to me
Must power though it so I can enjoy my weekend
Letting my voice mail answer the phone
I don't feel like talking to anyone right now
Hopefully closing a nice remodel job this afternoon
QOTD:
I'd actually like to see most of my songs made into a video. All of my songs start as a video in my head anyway, so I already have a visual concept.
I may pull together a bunch of our on stage clips one of these days and make a music vid for one of my old BLT tunes that gave us local popularity. We pretty much only play charity events now a few times a year. Our song "Glass Bridge" still comes up every so often and there is always someone at our shows that yell it out. Quite touching considering that I wrote that song almost 20 years ago. We just had a local band not too long ago ask my permission to cover it, which of course I gave him permission. I saw them perform it about 6 months ago and I think they sounded much better than I ever did it. They are going to record it soon on their first album, so I'm looking forward to hearing it.
Funny how the last song you'd think of turns out to be the one people seem to like best.
Ooops, kind of got side tracked there.

+1 I'd love to see "Outside Paradise".Niveous wrote:Hell Yeahs videos. Those would be the best.
I'd do it with fast constant flashing vid and pic clips, then normal speed through the slow parts.

The one that came to mind first was also Starfinger "More Than Soup" and not just the camcorder video - but one with camera cuts and zooms and all that, and soup. Lots of soup.
