Just passing through, can't wait till I have time to fight it out with you guys again, but wanted to say that I really dug sp00ns entry this week. Totally cool.

All the best,

A few OTTOMAN kudos and booos...

GREAT SONGS
State Shirt - Where did you come from? Everything I've heard so far was great. I'm expecting you to get a record deal soon...
Melvin - Yup, it's official. Everything you touch is gold! We need to collab sometime.

REALLY GOOD SONGS
The Worldly Self-Assurance
ShotPounder - not really my thing, but I appreciate it and it's pretty good.

GOOD SONGS
The Word and Works of Saucalito - I like the groove, but the vocals aren't right. Perhaps doubling them or getting a better recording.
The Weakest Suit - I like it, but some of the off-notes take away from it. I'm sure it wouldn't been better if you had longer to work on it.
Renwick - Weezerish...but it doesn't quite work
The Montserration Secret Police - I like the lyrical approach...very cool. But the melody could stand a lot of work and perhaps different vocals.

BAD SONGS
The White Hat - music was fine, but melody was lacking.
Tone Butter - I like your lead guitar.
Steve Durand feat. Bridget - "...talkin' 'bout my girl (my girl)..."
Spoonn and the Tangents - sorry
Rum Dreams
Puadxe - the drums are horrible here. Perhaps it was intentionally out of time, but it was WAY distracting.

.........more coming later....if i get around to it....

So ... a couple days after the Ottoman fight ended, I came home to find my wife had purchased 5—yes, 5—new ottomans.

So, I was thinking. Maybe we should have a title called "beer" or "guitars" or something. Just to test a theory.
Punk rock is for children. Grab a six-pack at Half-a-Dozen Records.

Kool Aid man says, "Oh yeah!"

Then...

Slim Jim guy says, "Oh, yeah!"

While "Beer" is tempting, "Guitars" sound a lot more..um...intriguing. :)
