Post by Jawknee »

So, my name's John. Im new here and just wanted to give a formal hello to everyone. I'll actually be taking part in the "Thank God for Memphis" fight with a friend thats already been registered on here. Can't wait to start getting into this.

Thanks in advance for any and all welcoming words.

#2 rule: don't be a dick when you get bad reviews. Everyone have different tastes, a large chunk of us suck, and most of us like hiding behind the veil that is the Internet which allows us to be totally and brutally honest or totally and criminally crazy, but definitely one or the other.

So, take the reviews, learn who to ignore, who likes your style, and listen to the honest opinions that are presented. If you have an open mind, you can greatly improve your sound, have a great time doing so, and meet a lot of cool musicians who maybe aren't so different from yourself.

When all else fails, FFFH

P.S. Hang it up my man, my bad knee is acting up, and I can feel a lot of votes for "Memphis" heading my way! Either that or a storm, but it's between 99 and 104 all this week with only 20% chance of rain on the weekend. So my money is on Thank God For Memphis.

hell yeah... dream team baby.
Oh so sweet yet oh so miserable..
It felt so good to finally clear the air - as I spilled my guts.
The guilt fades away - as I spill your guts.
