I put my vote on my way out the door for BLT/F, but there were a lot of good covers there. I'll post the rest of my faves when I get back to work, cause that's where my list was. And yeah, I guess I never did anything as cool as Caravan Ray did. sniff

It was a tough choice for me because they were all so good in their own way. But Albatross just grooved me right, so he got my vote. I didn't dig up the original to compare, I just like the way he jammed in his cover.
Second would be Caravan Ray's run run run. But they were all right on the money, even the old rehearsal recordings, I dig them all.

Anyway, thanks for sparing me a goose egg. Now someone has to break this 3-way tie!

Well, I didn't vote (or listen to the others yet), but in true SF style I will vote for BLT and myself without listening, thereby breaking the tie and declaring us the winners. Yay for us! :!:

And how many times did I peek at the vote and think, "hey, I could vote for myself and make it a four-way tie for the win..."

......and we have a tie, and why not? It was difficult to choose a favourite out of all the entries.
I enjoyed organising and taking part in this coverfight and want to thank everyone for taking part and all that!
We must do something like this again sometime :D

Thanks for setting it up Rinky. I probably would never have done a Velvet Underground cover had you not done this cover fight.

Yeah, considering I had wanted to cover this song since 1994 or so, it looks like I needed some prodding to do it, so thanks, even if nobody voted for me

Many of these songs, mine included, were Lou Reed solo covers... you know, you could always still do a cover and post it here!
