I'm gonna be out this one as well. I've got to get into my new schedule for my upcoming projects. Once I get into the swing of it, I'll no doubt throw together some crap for a song.
"Out of all I've learned in Life,
You always keep your friends close to your heart,
cause they'll help you if you're falling down..."

Yeah last time I was never confirmed so I though I'd go ahead and leave that out. I'm kind of exciting to hear everyone's lyrics for this song. How much of what, you know?Billy's Little Trip wrote:If eye get motivated and write a song, record it, mix it down, submit it before the deadline, and get a confirmation email back from the FMs saying they received it, then isle probably be in as well.
...ok, this is starting to suck. 8)

Maybe in. I might try to merge this fight and the following project a friend challenged me with:
write a song about the significance of english culture on India in the late 18th century. i want it on my desk in 2 weeks and make it snappy
it must have a tritone in the melody and must contrain two major chords a major 3rd or minor 6th away from eachother in the chorus
it has to end on a plagal cadence, with like a mock church hymn, yet bluesy sorta thing. success will result in 100 points added to your life score
Anyone else up for this optional challenge?

That's a pretty intense optional challenge. I'm kind of just working on making a regular song that is listenable. The White Hat wrote:Maybe in. I might try to merge this fight and the following project a friend challenged me with:

This intrigues me, and I'll consider it, but this guy sounds not only demanding, but arrogant. Who do you know that has the power to add points to my life score? The White Hat wrote:Maybe in. I might try to merge this fight and the following project a friend challenged me with:

Could ya be a little more specific.
I'm probly not in, oh I long for the time to actually songfight again.
I say probly, I mean for sure, damn, I hate time, theres so little and Ive so much work to do esp. around my bed.

a couple of the slides (only one actually slides out) are dent up and it doesn't look too pretty, but it makes sounds and the valves operate wellsdurand wrote:I'll probably be doing some trumpeting also. But mine cost considerably more than that.
You actually got a playable instrument for $45????
Steve
i was ecstatic when i managed to pull a decent sounding note out in the right key and time
learning guitar ain't shit compared to the trumpet
