Well, I've been sober for a while now, and I plan on staying that way, but until kinda recently I consumed excessive amounts of PBR. With lime. My friend Darrel calls it a "redneck on vacation", but I think there are prolly a lot more redneck-y beers than PBR. When I had money, I would always go for IPA.

Seems like everyone I know worships at the temple of Guinness. I think it's disgusting. Like a beer milkshake.

It sucks that I can't enjoy the taste of beer anymore (yeah, I enjoy the taste of PBR) ... thing is, I got to be a pretty serious alcoholic and I just don't enjoy "having a few". It's either sober or drunk, and once I'm drunk, I just go crazy and keep drinking and black out. It was getting to a point where I was always sick / hung over.

Anyway, cheers to those of you with self-control! :) And good luck keeping any of your friends around to those of you who might choose to quit! :(

Yeah. We have Steel Reserve. It's the most disgusting beer I've ever tasted, but it's cheap and effective.

I only had one beer (albeit a giant one), but I must say, I am a little drunk right now.

(But not too drunk to go back and correct my misspellings when I type.)

I'm tempted to get wasted tonight while Erin and I watch "Heroes" season 1 on DVD. It's been one of those days.

Man, I've been debating it too...busy day at work...Billing wouldn't take my calls... just giving me things to say to client over the IM'r....blah blah blah, only getting 3/4 the way done with anything I started today.

...and these last two posts are taking me over that edge.

Got Absolute and OJ in the 'fridge and I'm just going to have to bust into it.

I'm sorry, but if you can go back and correct misspellings, you sir are NOT drunk. You are, by definition... BUZZED. Thats good enough though.

On that note: I'm going to miss FBF. You are one of the reasons I'm still around. I'm sorry I could not get you back to your Hotel a little more efficiently back there in the ATL. BUT, I was only a block or two off ;)

I'm good and fdrdink now. I just wish I could throw myself in front of a bullet now in some heroic fashion. Otherwise I feel that I'm going to wake up and I'm going to start answering tech support calls in the morning. Therefore going out like some punk. (bitch)

God help me.

Oy! Took the day off for selfish birthday reasons and spent it drinking beer and figuring out drum miking, and lounging in the clawfoot. Then Mz Conduct (my beautiful wife) comes home with a bottle of Glenlivet. Not having the cash to go to the local strip bar (where everybody knows your name) I guess we'll be sitting at home drinking. Unless... (pause for speed-dialing) ...naw, not a generous bartender, bummer.

Heh. I'd say I feel old... but since Spud's a year older than my lovely wife (who's shouting "Cops is on, and it's near Seattle") I'll just revel in the fact that I'm not dead, and I'm still making goofy music for my own pleasure and give the rest of the world the finger.

I hope you spelt your friend Craig's name with a 'K' because you are drunk. If his name really is "Kraig" - his parents should be arrested and beaten.

Haha. Actually, his name is really Kraig. And imo his badass mustache gives him the right to spell his name however he wants.

I actually made it to class today! :D

If it is his choice to sound like a bogan - all well and good. But there really should be jail terms, or possibly the death sentance for enforcing stupidly spelt names on children

You know, pot will make you feel a lot more drunk than you are. That, or alcohol will make you feel more stoned than you are. One of the two. Or maybe both.

Oh yeah...I kind of forgot. I've never actually bought it, so I don't think about that. Yes, alcohol and tobacco are relative bargains, aren't they? Well, then, carry on.
