I wrote an application like this for an event one time. The speaker would ask a question of the audience of several hundred people, who would text their answer to the question using their cell phones to a number specified on the big screen behind the speaker. The results when then be displayed by projector in real time as they were coming in, using a similar type of display, but animated, as the words bounced around the screen, changing in size as more messages came in. Cool, huh?

I think I have pictures with some of those same wax statues... I know there's one of me with that Shakira. And one of me punching that George W. Bush statue in the face.

Still... what was the point of that? Everyone does silly poses with wax museum statues, and most of those weren't even that creative.
