I really love Hoosenbergler's "Brand New Car" - yeah, I admit it!
It's like England's answer to Kompressor.

"England's Answer to Kompressor' -
That is exactly what I have been aiming for! Success - wow!
"Collab between Hoosenbergler & Johnny Grippo" - hmmm, it's mainly electronic, but perhaps 'I'm Warning You' with Hoosenbergler on vox might work a treat. Or The Masters Of Grip's 'Quentin Tarentino' - maybe there's an EP in this! I shall speak to the lads ...

So tonight I was talking to a friend of Erin's and SongFight! came up. She made a suggestion which I thought I would pass along. Her suggestion was to make the SongFight! MySpace profile into a band profile and post the winning songs (or maybe FM's picks or something) from the most recent fights for people to listen to. I know the FMs have enough on their plates already, so I'm not expecting them to do this, I just thought it was an interesting idea that I wanted to share, that's all.
Look, I finally have a myspace page. Unlike my normal web site, you can't listen to dozens of irritating "charcoal" tunez! Please be my friend because I have zero of them right now, and maybe when I wake up tomorrow afternoon and get over the hangover I will probably have, I will turn the myspace page into something spectaculacular! Like, with special musication and so forth!
There is a blog wherein I will probably not record my favorite ten million songs ever. None of them will be written or performed by Canadians or other infidels.
You know you want to be my friend, because I am a handzome devil and a rock star. Do it now, so I don't have to go through all six pages of this thread and figure out your names and figure out how to try to add you as friends. Pretty pl,ease!

PS who's the stupid fucker who thought "charcoal" would be a good name for his whiny emo personal page? If any of you know him, please feel free to give him a nice cozy kick in the shins.

Not a bad idea, but I don't think you can turn a personal profile into a music one.Lunkhead wrote:So tonight I was talking to a friend of Erin's and SongFight! came up. You used to be able to, though you were warned that it was a one-way move (you couldn't change back into a personal profile afterwards). That information has since disappeared from their FAQ, however. YMMV.GlennCase wrote:Not a bad idea, but I don't think you can turn a personal profile into a music one.

I recently did that - though I seemed to end up with 2 profiles - one which was 'caravanray' the other music one, 'caravanraymusic'. I'm pretty sure I didn't name it 'caravanraymusic' myself. Anyway - think the 'caravanray' one is dead now.Rabid Garfunkel wrote:You used to be able to, though you were warned that it was a one-way move (you couldn't change back into a personal profile afterwards). Anybody that wants to be my friend can email me at artistsforanarchy@gmail.com
You get nifty stuff!
Like I will send you a complete plan on how to start a democratically member owned and administered web community.
You can start any kind of community with this plan.
This includes a democratic version of this community.
You only need a few people to get started and there is plenty of opportunity for growth for every member.
