Why not just use the podcast?

Completely forgot its existence. That would work just fine. 130 reviews to come. Yeah. I hope this isn't gonna be a week full of a bunch of return offenders entering filler in vain attempts to enter every fight. I hope all the titles gave enough artistic freedom to allow for many good tunes.
all 11 songs?

I know a few artists have posted that they submitted all eleven titles. I'd be kind of interested to listen to each of those collections of songs (I'll bet others would, too). It would be great if any one else who did all 11 would post a message to that effect (it will save me going through all of the lists).
Thanks,
Ross

As in, you are expecting them, or you hope some more will turn up?

Everything I tried to do for this turned out like shit. So. I didn't submit a thing.

I did all 11, in order - not necessarily the best sequence, but intended to at least break'em up. My 11th song, and one I like better of them, was submitted 2 hours late and I am hoping it makes it in. Many others may hope not!

I find that hard to believe. But fear not, I put in plenty of shit to go around!

Everything
I did turned to gold. booyah
...and commiserations.
my advice:
1) if you used drums, lose em (or use brushes instead of sticks)
2) more accordions and bowed instruments
3) sing about cheese (but not french cheese, ugh)
4) more Henley modulations (whatever they are, only you know for sure)
gold
easy peasy

There's no story line going through my songs, but as I was working on them, I did try to do a rising keys thing, so one might choose to listen to them in an order something like:
Switch Hitter (Am)
Onomotopoeia (Bb, for the sax player)
For the Time Being (C)
Give It to Me (C#m)
No Relation (D)
High Time (Eb, and I think I used synth horns on this one)
It's Just Not Right (E. 'cause it's basically a blues)
Terror In Tiny Town (F)
Go Phishing (F#m)
Blank Stare (G)
Exclamation Point (G#m)
... which is also roughly the order that the songs started writing themselves. I also did the "rising keys" thing just to force each song into a different key, so that as I was working out the melodies so that they fit within my vocal range, the songs wouldn't all top out at the "4" note of the scale the way they would if everything was in A...
I'm not sure if it's the "best of the bunch" or not, but the song that keeps playing in my mind after letting things soak for a couple days is "Terror In Tiny Town."
Other than a couple songs where I could have redone the vocals and a couple others that could have had a lead instrument (guitar or synth-something) added, all the songs are up to KA standards... that is to say, these eleven songs are, as a group, as well written / performed as my previous eleven songfight! related songs (some of which weren't submitted). There are a couple here which I probably wouldn't have submitted if not for the eleven-song challenge, but that's mostly about "this was a dumb approach to this title" rather than performance or recording issues.

We still need "Exclamation Point" art. My idea is a map with Exclamation Point positioned at the edge of an exclamation-point-shaped lake (with Saint Gratus off to the side), but I'm coming up nil on usable source images. Anybody want to try their hand at it? Or any other idea? :(

The Bjam (with special production by stueym) 'Switch Hitter' also is a single entry.

I didn't do anything.

I really wanted to, but I had to work a bunch of crazy overtime at the old folks home. It always works out that I have 2-3 days off in a row right after the songs are due. I did however put together RattPoizon's first two albums in a two disc set. including "shit sandwich," and "rage against the drum machine." if anyone would really like one pm me your address, and I might just mail one to you.

130? I trust there won't be any more 11 song fights too soon then.
Sidefight while we wait?

Like, a 'Design Kapitano a Less Paedo-friendly Avatar' competition?
I actually think I know the source of the picture as well, which is worrying.

It's from
http://www.stupidporn.com/ - just what the url says. Linking to
http://www.world-gay-sex.com/galleries/ ... ecock.html - which is...erm...
"...tender and inexperienced partners are giving you the real happiness and satisfaction because your relations with them are not about one-night stands and dirty fucking, but allow you to dream, to try and to enjoy. Their divine buttocks will definitely drive you crazy."
No, don't actually click on the link! The Devine Buttocks - should be the name of a band. Hey, probably
is.
I'd guess the Cashpoint avatar is from
http://www.superdickery.com/, which can be
just as paedo-friendly - especially the stuff with Batman and Robin. So there. Very funny frames from real comics drawn in a more innocent age, check it out.
