Re: You'll get Under Over the reviews
Y'know, there's no one magic length over which point a song is officially "too long." There were longer songs than Tinderfoot's in the fight this week which I didn't think were too long, and there were shorter songs that seemed to last forever.
I'd like to think that my "North Dakota" justified its length in a way that Tinderfoot's "Under Over" didn't. Maybe they're both too long; it's not really for me to say at this point.

To me, a song is only too long if it goes nowhere after the second verse. A song like bohemian rhapsody changes moods and structure through the song, so I don't feel like it's too long.

Sorry, I know little about Greek mythology, and in a late night/early morning, forcing myself to finish the review before sleeping, review session...I was not about to do research beyond the lyric forum. :p

It's not just you, no one's pointed it out, despite my specific invitation. I'm mostly disappointed in myself, thinking I was all witty with oblique references to the Persephone myth, and hoping folks would get the reference. I just went too arcane, I suppose.

That cover art is awesome! Did Fluff actually draw that or just steal the image?

Re: You'll get Under Over the reviews
Maybe we should have reconsidered the "I don't vote for myself" thing before this fight.
Nah, I'd rather be #2 then give up my moral beliefs.
And what's up with the vote tally page? It looks like MG hacked it and eft it all up.
