I just went through Nur Ein I and II for the first time and there's no way I'll be able to match everyone.
I felt the same way when I listened to NE1. I didn't make it too far in NE2, but it pushed me to give it my all. It's hard for me to put together a song in a week that I am happy with, but I streamlined my process the best I could and pretty much made it in just in time each week.
It was a great experience because I learned new things that I now use everyday when making music. So bottom line, put your inhibitions aside for Nur Ein, and attack it head first. You might just surprise yourself.

See, this is why I'm not gonna go back and listen.
And for all you people who are lamenting that you're up against the best,
I am in this fight. I'm a one-trick pony! I have no idea how I'm going to pull this off, but I'm jazzed, because I enjoy getting chewed up and spit out by the best. I invite you to come kick my ukulele-wielding ass!

The image of your ass playing a ukulele is not an entirely pleasant one ...

Anybody even THINKING about dropping out because of the heavy competition just remember one thing.
I'm in so you can't possibly be last place no matter what.

You're welcome.

Don't forget that the songs are due after five days, the new titles go up on eight. Gettin' pumped up, and looking forward to hearing some good tunes.

Oh crap, I need to go buy a new external hard drive maƱana. Mine are full, and even though 90% of what I have is crap, I don't have time, nor the patients to sift through it. So new HD it is.

Last year I prepared by stocking up on alcohol and told my loved ones that I'm going to be in my special place for the next few weeks.

Thanks.
