I haven't been around so much lately, but I just felt like saying Roymond and Jute Gyte are amazing. Also, Luke Henley has a ton of potential. I'd like to hear him with an actual band on Songfight some day.

An actual band... that sounds like a hell of an idea.

There are times in a person's life where they feel they are lost in unbreachable darkness. For me, that time is now. Luke, J$ and Jute, your music has helped to keep me afloat/alive during this time. And I thank you.

Hey Niv, thanks. I too am very glad that my music helps someone in any way. Kind of makes it all worthwhile. Hope that doesn't sound too foolish.

Last week I put the "Bioluminescence" fight onto CD to listen to in the car - it's become one of my favourite CD's, it makes a great concept album - there isn't a bad song on it. Well done everybody (me included). Easily the best fight I've heard on Songfight!
Some enterprising soul should make an album out of it and direct market it to biology/zoology faculties around the world. The bio-geeks would love it.

Don't know if I've mentioned this ... probably...but whenever Blind Mime (pretty much any tune but right now it's "Zombie Son") comes up I wonder...damn... I like this. Where is this guy now?
Also, The Hip cola's "I'm with steve now" is soooo good.

Thanks Leaf!
Sad story about I'm With Steve Now...in backing up my song projects onto DVD..I somehow either overlooked IWSN or lost the DVD it's on...the result is the same..I no longer possess the original tracks or even a damn wav file mix of it. All I can find is the mp3. ARGHHH!!!!!! When I think about that, it really pisses me off.
Oh well...I've been thinking of redoing it. Would have been a great thing to submit to the Cover Thyself fight but alas, no time. But when I do, I want your drums instead my programmed ones... deal?

blind mime: he's in my group tapegerm, talked with him during the online concert last weekend. haven't heard any new songs from him here or anywhere in a while though. you should write to him through his website.

I've been going through Andre Was Here at Midnight's archive all afternoon and it's just really incredible stuff. There's this great kind of Animal Collective vibe to it, but it's also totally original and I love it to pieces.
Love,
Luke
