I've been listening to these songs all day and I am very impressed. Everyone did a great job. Nur Ein!

Really? I thought mine was a bit of both.Niveous wrote:So very true. This whole fight is either one extreme or the other.Rabid Garfunkel wrote:Nightmares v. Lullabies... Cage Match!
mine is supposed to be too. (thoughte nightmare bit isn't just in the out of tune singing - i wish I had time for another take...)Ross wrote:Really? What are the required dimensions/limitations on the photo's?Niveous wrote:I almost forget the yearly picture request. If you make it into Round one, I need a pic of you for the website. If you are the camera shy type, you can just send your band logo. If you don't send a pic, I will just hunt one down from the web.
Just don't give me a teeny picture and we should be okay. Bigger is bigger.Nigel (spOOn) Clements wrote:What are the required dimensions/limitations on the photo's?Niveous wrote:I almost forget the yearly picture request. Yeah I got it, I posted the above 'musings' then went back and listened again to a select few, and hey presto there it wasujnhunter wrote:Thanks for the reviews Nigel, the whistling in our song is a call and response whistle/stylophone after the first chorus.
Okay, my comment was a little hasty but there us a lot of extremes in this fight.Niveous wrote:So very true. This whole fight is either one extreme or the other.Rabid Garfunkel wrote:Nightmares v. Lullabies... Cage Match!
The rest of the track was a couple of takes, the whistling was about twelve of which that was as good as it got!!Nigel (spOOn) Clements wrote:the whistling is a let down, but I'm thinking there wasn't many takes to this, which makes it even more impressive!
I'd like to take my chorus (the part with the whistling), throw it in the trash can, squirt lighter fluid on it and toss in a lit match. I really wanted the extreme changes, but I was having a hard time getting the chorus to feel right going from the pre chorus to the chorus.Nigel (spOOn) Clements wrote: Billy's Little Trip, Ooh that's a cool mother of an intro, after that it's maybe not as grungy as it really wants to be, whistling part doesn't really work too well, if the whole break had just been that with maybe a hi-hat, vocals seem strangely subdued??
I'm shocked the BLT Joke-o-meter did not go off.erin. wrote:Cock- Right up my alley
