A new AAD from me, recorded yesterday.

"Diary of a Trouble-free Mind" by Howard the Human (23 min 06 secs)

Image

STREAM ALL

LYRICS HERE

A couple of angular rock numbers to indulge my current SOS fetish, a very long dub song that you can skip if you like, two great melodies in skewed pop song format, and some fucking around. Not many laughs - it's quite depressing really. And there you have it!

1.The Less (3.11) 2.The fuck Song (3.18 ) 3.Idiot Dub 2 (5.17) 4.Time for Bed (0.36) 5. Neckbeard (1.15) 6. Swigging from the Carton (2.30) 7. Silent Decree(4.29) 8. Time for Bed (Psychik Sleep Mix) (2.25)

Bonus track (Not in the stream - the song that became Idiot Dub 2- You Are All Idiots (2.48 )

There's a great back cover to this as well - does anyone know how to use the IMG command to make images appear side by side? In the meantime you can see it here if you want to.

How are your AADs so great? All the distortion sounds really good. The Fuck Song blew my mind. Neckbeard is great, too. The whole thing is great.

Two mix complaints: There are lots of editing or punch-in clicks throughout this album, and the oppressive cymbals make me turn down the rock when I want to crank it.

Yeah, my sequencer was in one of its fuck up moods yesterday. even stuff that I play live gets this click - I think its because I record it too loud for the sequencer to handle...

The hats - well that's my crappy drum machine programming for ya! I ran out of time to turn 'em down in the patterns.

But yeah, thanks! I am pretty pleased with how it came out, really! Not sure about 'Idiot Dub 2' - no Lee 'Scratch' Perry, I ...

wow! i may have to diagnose you with Plat Disease. these songs are great - i love "secret decree," (altho the lyric seems to be "silent decree" ...?) especially in the intro. total Fugazi vibe.

so i guess all of your future songfight tunes have to be done in <2 hours. :P

Thanx. That's my favourite too ... for the record, it's 'silent decree' - i was tired when I was turning the songs into mp3s!

There was a great meeting of the minds recently, when half of Phunt (Mogo), myself, and other faceless henchmen got together and made a racket until about 4 something in the AM. It's called Silver Inna Muckraker and we go by the name Coma Bambi. Who knows if you'll ever get to hear it:

1. How Do You Love the Colors? 6:32
2. Demon Brains 5:56
3. Might as Well go Bohemian 23:16

Um, ok. It's actually about 7 songs, just recorded in one continuous track. But still, thanks for letting us know.

Coma Bambi: I can't make out one thing from the next. Way too long. This wankfest could've made the same point in about one minute. I do like the intentional lo-fi, campfire feel to it. I'll never listen to this again, but I bet you had fun making it.

Balls accurate?

adj: Correct or true in the manner that testicles are correct or true, with respect to some item in question. Slang for the more formal term "testicularly appropriate". Eg. "My review of Coma Bambi was ~."

Jpoint's last AAD is pretty sweet. There's something to be said for just listening to a bunch of his songs in a row.

I've written 10 songs since noon, and recorded 4. Then I was all "Man, this sucks" and gave up for the past 3 hours. And I think I'm gonna try and complete it now. It just gets so tedious after a while. "Write lyrics, do chords, practice, record, wash and repeat".

Good job, Bjam.

My favorite is probably Waltz. Britian is a much better song than Stone Palace. And Chick Rocker is great. If I had any high school age male friends in PA, I'd tell 'em to date ya.

My GOD this is pure freaking ROCK!

This feels like the musical sister to "Beautiful Lunchbox", and that is a GOOD thing!

Thank you for recording this!
