12 Favorite Reasons this thread is permanently prioritized:

1.) Because the mods are weird.
2.) To confuse the noobs.
3.) Because Erik's jokes are great, and deserve to stay on top of the thread.
4.) Because everyone else's jokes are bad, and would otherwise be forgotten.
5.) Because it's the closest thing to "structure" we have on the Monkey Business forum.
6.) Because the mods have been meaning to un-sticky it for a while, but they only remember it when they're drunk.
7.) Because we're 20% better than Letterman, and the world needs to know that.
8.) To give Oust The Mods one more example of dictatorial fiat to harp over.
9.) Because Songfighters love lists!
10.) Because failure to do so would result in an infraction of the code as stipulated by Clause 5, Sub-paragraph d), resulting in prolonged periods of uninterrupted trolling, as seen in such instances as this.
11.) Because most of the crap on the Monkey Business forum isn't funny, so why does it matter what's on top?
12.) Because YOUR FACE, that's why!
BURN!

12 of my favorite movies

1. Un long dimanche de fiançailles (A Very Long Engagement) because it makes me cry and cheer and cringe. Every time.

My 12 favorite beers.

1: Guinness.
2: RIP Stout. (7 Barrel Brewery)
3: Gennessee Cream Ale (cans).
4: Smithwick's.
5: Miller High Life (bottles).
6: Sam Adams Black Lager.
7: Flying Dog "Horn Dog' Barley Wine.
8: Corona. (with lemon)
9: Dundee Honey Brown Lager.
10: Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout.
11: Bass.
12: Magic Hat Roxy Rolles.

There was a time when Newcastle would have held a place on this list. Not anymore. My LEAST favorite beer has to be Harpoon Winter Warmer. It's like drinking a scented candle.

List invalid: Does not contain Widmer Hefeweizen or anything by Blue Moon.

I dunno. His #3 pretty much says he's The Man. It might help if you thought of Jim's cans of jenny as an East Coast analogue of those PacNW beers, fluffy.

I'm glad there's still regionalism in products, even if it means I can't get my hands on the stuff.

The possible coolness of the beers I hadn't heard of are more than negated by the inclusions of Guinness, Corona, and Miller. Although Flying Dog does earn some credit back.

Eh, not looking to gain points. I was just thirsty. And Blue Moon isn't on the list because every place around here insists on jamming an orange slice into it.

Weird. Unfiltered wheat beers should be served with either a slice of lemon, or just plain on their own.

My 12 favourite beers used to be half a case of XXXX. But I can't buy XXXX in NZ.

So now my 12 favourite beers are half a case of Tui

Okay, my 12 favorite beers:

1) Boddingtons
2) Sierra Nevada Pale
3) Bridgeport Ebenezer Ale (seasonal)
4) McMenamins Ruby (draught... and yes, it's pink)
5) any bitter on draught
6) Hollywood Blonde
7) Gordon Biersch Marzen
8) Duvel
9) Anchor Steam
10) Lucky Lager
11) any beer that's not Fat Tire
12) any beer that's free

Gennessee Cream Ale doesn't make it, 'cause I've only had one six pack of it in my life, in Virginia, weirdly enough--though I really enjoyed it (my family's all Damn Yankees except for me, so Gennessee's been around and fondly remembered for as far in the past as my consciousness goes). I need to get back to the Northeast more often.

But first... ahhhh, Boddingtons.

You left out McWanker's Old Scrotum. And how on earth is #12 not #1?!?!?!? #12 is the sweetest beer of all.

Personally, I've never really been into this fancy beer thing. I've always found I can get the same effect by wearing a "I'm a pretentious wanker" sign around my neck and having somebody urinate in my mouth.

See the problem is that you're so used to the taste of urine in your mouth that you think that cheap beer is acceptable.

Hey! I don't just let anyone urinate in my mouth!! I have got my standards you know.

I used to love the shit out of Widmer Hefeweizen with lemon or even a fucking lime in it. "NOM NOM NOM," I say unto thee. Somehow alcohol fell out of favor with me, and I've been depressed enough to try to pick it up and see if it does anything, but like...I just can't get into drinking calories, at this point. If beer would contribute to my fitness instead of my fatness, I would get down with that shit every night. Although if I had the possibility for some actual social drinking...I would just drink instead of eating. Somebody tell these fucking elitist pricks at UF that I'm a person, too, and a damned entertaining one at that, not to mention more intelligent than half of them anyway. COME ON. I'll finish school when I have a tad of money for it. Not everyone's parents have a ton of money to throw at them. Not that mine don't have any. But they don't throw it at me. It's like a social class thing. It's like the caste system. What is this, pre-colonial India? FML.

Dude, smoke weed. But really, it doesn't make you fat, and you save money! But then again, there is that thing about it being illegal, but is that really a problem?

Talk to Spud. He actually has a proven diet of salad and beer. Apparently he lost weight on his diet and I think wrote a book about it. I'm too lazy to search for it.

@Andrew. That is terrible advice. Weed makes me very hungry......and not for healthy food. Stuff like peanut butter, hot fudge and captain crunch sangwiches, or pancakes with chopped up snickers and gummy bears. nom nom nom.

I had to cut back my weed intake to social events because I was getting chubby and started getting paranoid and thinking that I was getting the diabeedeez. :?

Oh man, the munchies slipped my mind. Forget what I said, Oats. Maybe jogging and eating vegetables would be a better life choice.
