Actually, I was the kid looking up the teacher's skirt when she was hanging up our construction paper stars that we made with Elmer's glue and glitter. All the kids did such a nice job of writing their names with the glue and sprinkling glitter on the glue. Not me. Mine was like a whole bottle of glue, then I packed on about 10 jars of glitter and pounded it really hard with my fist to make sure it stuck. Even days later when the teacher was hanging up our stars, mine was still losing glitter all over the place.
I still remember how wonderful she made me feel when she turned to smile at me as she hung up my glitter clod. The sparkles shimmering off her face where all my glitter sprinkled down and stuck to her moist skin. Oh, those were the day.
