Ha ha! (à la Nelson)fluffy wrote:The first pack I ordered finally arrived... and I have to wonder what randomization strategy they're using, since in the one pack I got two Niveouses (Nivei?) and THREE Klownholes. What the heck?
Calculate the odds. As mentioned in a previous post, duplicates in 18/60 (now 62) are highly likely. A simplified formula is toothpicks squared over haystack, or (17*17)/60 = 4.8 duplicates, although I it seems like in practice about 2-3 is more common.fluffy wrote:The first pack I ordered finally arrived... and I have to wonder what randomization strategy they're using, since in the one pack I got two Niveouses (Nivei?) and THREE Klownholes. Oh well, at least those are the valuable first-edition misprints.
That's just silly. How in the world would I put my little cape and tights on my car keys?fluffy wrote:BLT: If your superpower is in your pants, are you saying that you have magic car keys?
You should not be amazed. This was fully disclosed here: http://songfight.net/forums/viewtopic.p ... 55#p189755fluffy wrote:Right, I"m just amazed that they don't dedupe on a per-pack basis. I only ordered one pack; you'd think they'd choose 18 unique cards at random, rather than choosing 18 cards independently.
I understand there'd be duplicates if you order multiple packs. I'm just surprised there's duplicates within a single pack.
Okay. I gave it a test run. I randomly picked to do a card for Beatnik Turtle.Spud wrote:http://www.songfight.org/rockening/submit.php is now active.
If you've been meaning to submit, help me out by testing out this form and giving me any feedback you might have.
Thanks, SPUD
All of the information came in fine. Any hiccups on your end, Niveous?Niveous wrote:Okay. I gave it a test run. I randomly picked to do a card for Beatnik Turtle.
You posted that after I ordered and I wasn't reading every single post about the minutiae of what the manufacturer does. I just post a lot to this forum, that doesn't mean I read everything.Spud wrote:You should not be amazed. That was fine, roymond. I sent you a thanks by gmail...roymond wrote:I submitted updates to Intentionally Left Bank's card data. Was that a no-no?
Nope. Pretty straight forward. I'm going to try again later today and I got Dan Bailey (His Name is Dan) to try it out as well.Spud wrote:All of the information came in fine. Thanks, Niv. I see what happened there. I forgot to multiply by 100, and it was rounding everything to 0 or 1 (1=frontalot, 0=everyone else).Niveous wrote:Balls to Monte has 20 songs and 2 wins, so it should say 10% but it says 0% instead.
