I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess it's her nickname because... she has nice legs?

Maybe she doesn't have any. I thought twice about saying this, because on the off chance that's the case I figured I'd look like an asshole. But then I realized you'd have given the nickname "Legs" to someone without them, and who's really the asshole in that situation?

all very true points. But the monkier 'Legs' was bestowed onto her long before we met, by her family. The reasons why seem to be shrouded by the mists of time.

Smoking cessation and a half rack of beer combined with a lazy saturday do not make for mellow living. How many more times can I rearrange the studio? Oy! (Though now I've found places for the archaic 5.5' tall PA speakers--12 ohm, yo--that have found their way into my space.)

On the plus side, it's fairly habitable now for practices, and should mi casa be a pre-tour warm-up site a month-odd from now, heh.

The last band that I tried out for was me and a bass player. (a side project as both of us are already IN bands) While the practice was fun... it was lame.

BTW, I'm drunk and my review posts should be read as such.

I just had my first 12 oz of inspiration. I will be fdrinked by the end of the night and maybe have some crazy shit written by then. Beer is for writing because it has special vitiminz in it for my brain, and rum is for recording vocals, because it has rum in it.

Funny, I rarely drink screwdrivers, yet that's what I'm drinking right now. Except with concord vodka, Sunny D and a twist of lime. A friend told me that I "have" to try it. I can't remember the name, but it's not too shabby.

VERY Ironic, because I prefer Sunny D in my screwdrivers too (althought it's smirnoff I'm using as the vodka) There's no other screwdriver like a Sunny D, because all of that sugar counteracts the alcohol making me drowsy...

Last night I got home at about 6:30pm with my repaired car, and the tour was officially over. I celebrated with a bottle of Love My Goat, a table red made by Bully Hill. A great wine for getting down to the business of drinking.

We had Love My Goat at our wedding (!). The reception site/catering guy knew I was from the Buffalo area so he suggested that he knew he could get it, and I said yeah! It's a fun wine. Love the Finger Lakes, about 2 hours from where I grew up.

But seriously, if you get a chance to try a grape vodka, you must. It is really good. Not grape flavored, but actually distilled from grapes. The one I had is called Roth Vodka. The other one is Idol Vodka. There are only a few out there that are distilled from grapes and not just potato vodka flavored with artificial grape flavor.

Can someone explain to me the favoring of one vodka over another? Isn't vodka supposed to be odorless / tasteless? Perhaps I'm too low class to discern the difference, but it all tastes the same to my unrefined palette.

Er... I shouldn't have typed anything here 'cause I'm not fdrinked right now. A G & T sounds tasty right about now! Happy spring drink!

Absolut, or Greygoose are always going to be better because of their filtration process. Generally the rule with Vodka (as with most alcohols) the more expensive, the more filtration, the easier it is on you as a human. I.E. less of a hangover.

This is not fool proof by any means. (pardon the pun)

Since I have cut back on drinking, I have afforded better alcohol. This means I'm less hungover less of the time.
