I'm trying to record a cover of Space Cadet and I am having two problems:

1) I can't figure out one of the lyrics
2) I keep fucking crying

For number one, does anyone know how the bridge goes? What I've figured out is:

I'd never heard Brother Machine before, slightly before my time. So I had a trawl through the archive, and damn, I really like this stuff. To think I've been living the last 15 years of my life without Space Cadet. I might have to consider getting in on this action. Enjoying the 2004 live video too.

So I guess I'm about a year behind on joining in on this, but I'm going to try to do a cover of Brother Machine's "Step Up" and I'll just post it here if/when I get something.

I've figured out all the lyrics except the very first line (which appears again at the end of the song, but it's a copy & paste). Anybody got a guess what that first line is? Thanks...

sounds to me like "I don't know you, I feel stupid talking to myself"

To me sounds like:

I don't know you, I was just been talkin' to myself

also relistening to the live version I realize I got another line in Space Cadet wrong:

"Fly away, leave us alone, we don't want you anyway"
