Yes! Like I'm leaning towards 19th century appalachian tunes because of my ancestry...But there's no requirement other than "pre-1920"

So ... is anyone still working on one of these? I am - and I am becoming a bit obsessed by it. What started off as a quick throwaway project is now looking like becoming my next “proper” single. Still a lot of work to go in getting it release ready - but - I like it.

Does anyone have experience in releasing cover versions on Spotify etc? I assume because this is 150 years old I can just release it with “traditional” as writer?

According to Wikipedia:
”The Streets of Forbes is usually listed as traditional or anonymous, but Gary Shearston writes that "there are reasons for thinking John McGuire, (Ben Hall's brother in law), may well have been the original author".

I have been too busy to work on this but at least it’s partially with other music things.

I wasn't as tempted then as I am now. (Famous last words.) Looks like it's not too late to start.

Oh, completely forgot I’d chosen a song for this about a month ago. I need to finish my Circle if Titles for Vom first though. 😬
