Sockpuppet: You know what’s satisfying? Smacking a golf ball. You know what else is satisfying? Going to the recycling center and smashing glass bottles. Personally I’d rather smash stuff and light stuff on fire in the most harmless way, but I suppose that if you have trouble doing that harmlessly, golf would be a decent outlet. The switch up to the past tense in the refrain was a nice change. I’m trying to figure out the significance of the last line. I mean I’ve met my fair share of pretentious Prius drivers (my ex’s dad, dadgum), but it sounds like golfpunk used to be way more of an asshole than he is now.
The narrator is a character too.

Brown Word and the Big Whine:
I love the Tom Petty intro. good vocal, I like the attitude. They might be a hair stilted (like the song needs to be a hair faster so the attitude is smooth and not so ON THE BEAT but really, this is a good performance. I don't like the 'give hem heck' line.. you need to give them HELL. I like that it switched up although the transition might be a hair abrupt. This song sounds like it would be fun to play on stage.

Caravan Ray:
I like the rhythm. I like the melody. You do synth and rhythm well. "Golfpunk drives a cadillac" is stuck in my head. That's got to be a good thing, right?

Jeff DeSantis:
The intro reminds me of early Wilco. Even when the vocals come in. Kind of my go to listening pleasure so you're getting a vote from me. I like how you used the original fight line up in your lyric. Very smoothly done.

Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff:
Straight forward take but not unlikable. I like those claps. A tasty little touch. A good vocal but the melody is maybe a little too straight. I could use a little change up or bigger leaps in the melody at some point. Even if just one time through at the end or something. But yeah, I enjoyed listening.

Lichen Throat:
Those drums.. that rhythm just doesn't quite fit with the vocal melody in places. The timing is good, but the rhythm is a hair heavy handed for the song, I think. I like the floaty feel (use of liberal reverb) and I like how you can take a fairly busy backing part and make it a good backer for your vocal. Listening some more, I think that snare is just too loud/aggressive.

The Pannacotta Army:
You do this style pretty darn well. But it's not my favorite of yours. I do like the melody and your vocal delivery. The chorus is damn good, though. I'll say I like this better now that I've heard it multiple times.

Phlebia:
What the fuck was that intro? Genius or pure shite? Either way I liked it. I love the pretty consistent assault of the guitars (edit: power BASS) and rhythm. The vocal works. I think you did this very well although it probably won't play well with the songfight crowd. It's too harsh for most of us, I think. I'm still singing "It gets under my skin.... patience wearing thin."

Pigfarmer Jr:
Loose. Not always in a good way. But fun. In a totally good way.

Sockpuppet:
Love the bass line. Love the funky guitar. You did the spoken vocal very well but it's not really my cup of tea in general. That being said, I think you pulled it off pretty damn well. "You know... golf. The rich people's sport. And he was good at it." I can't sit still while listening so that's a good thing. The backing vox ooohs etc., need to be tightened up just a hair, but overall... you done good, kid.

WreckdoM:
Nice country drawl delivery. Beer bottles and crack pipes. That sounds like either a) a good time or b) a cool album title. I vote B. The snare might be a bit loud on the chorus.

pancotta - this is probably my favorite of the fight, i really do love the reggae/ska groove and it's done really well here. definite vote!

phlebia feat. sween - this was a lot of fun to make! it was a bit of a challenge as i really haven't rapped to something in this style in many many years. phlebia had the idea for the goose on the golf course thing, which i totally ran with because i love rapping about birds! birdcore for life! vote, obviously.

caravan ray - well it definitely sounds like something from the year 2000 lol, it reminds me of something mc hawking would do, does anyone remember that guy? tbf, this is probably a little better than hawking, i think i heard you mention yellow lasers, props to that. i still did not vote for this lol

sockpuppet - more early 2000 vibes, i did not vote for this

brownword - i really like this a lot. it is without a doubt my favorite track of yours i've heard so far. it kind of reminds me of when i was a teenager in the mid 90's and there was this cool little record store in my town called music-x-change, their address was 420 lol, anyways they had a little cardboard box at the entrance with free cassette tapes which were usually little demos and ep's from local punk bands and this sounds very much like the kind of stuff you'd find in that little cardboard box, i used to really love that stuff. definite vote!

pigfarmer jr - this was pretty ok, like not too soft but not too hard, it didn't really excite me though, i did not vote for it. when you mentioned the og songfight guys i pictured all these normal looking guys and then drew with his kompressor mask and that made me laugh though lol

wreckdom - more early 2000s stuff lol, this keeps reminding me of the lapdance is always better when the stripper is crying by the bloodhound gang lol, this was pretty funny but i didn't vote for it, maybe i should of because on repeated listen this is kind of hilarious.

lichen throat - this sounds more 80's to me, really not feeling the singing though, i do like how you say golf is just an excuse to drink though lol, and golfers are magnets for ladies hahah, but yeah i did not vote for this.

jeff desantis - another song about drinking and golf, this one is better though, it's pretty ok, not too hard, not too soft. i did not vote for this.

ken's super band - this reminds me of a tv show theme song, like if this came on randomly and this was the song for the intro of the show, it would probably have me interested in maybe watching the show, the song was pretty ok but not my favorite, i did not vote for it.
