Forgot to check the side challenge as usual, but that aside, I’m in with something complicated. It was fun doing though. I think the influence will be pretty obvs

This was the first title posted after I finished the mixing on my album, so I decided to submit something before I'd even seen the title. Then the title/challenge didn't really inspire me, so I went through three so-so ideas before finally falling into an idea that stuck Wednesday afternoon. I've been refining it most of this evening, so I'm probably in. I did the challenge, but I suspect maybe not in the way its author intended? I guess we'll see.

I've just finished recording the parts, but haven't mixed yet. It's a simple arrangement, so I'm going to get some sleep now. I'll mix and submit in the morning. Happy to be back in the fray!

In. Lyrics are pretty repetitive but not minimal. Didn't give Steve enough time, so it's robo drums this week. No saxes either... just had access to a guitar and EWI for this one.

J.A.N. (J$, Andy Balham & Niveous) are in with some electronic business. Pretty much ignoring the optional challenge.

I have a song done but won’t be able to send it in till later tonight. I’ve been in the process of securing a new apartment and getting ready to move but with the optional challenge it made it easy to get a quick song made. It will be another to add to my collection of 1 minute songs about a movie.

I have not seen that show but all your songs kind of make me want to start watching it. I’ve never seen scrubs either. I used to watch ER with George Clooney back in the day though!

Scrubs is...okay. I watched it a lot when I was in high school cause my parents were really into it. Grey's is one my wife randomly got into a few months back and the storylines get so over the top sometimes I can't help but be fascinated.
