We are in the same exact ballpark this week...

In with a short but very repetitive tune with janky vocals and simple, but earnest homages to the guitar stylings of Pigfarmer Jr and the Steve Miller Band. No saxes in this one, which makes two song fights in a row. I guess you need to come to SpinTunes for my saxes for the time being.

Edited to blame sleepysilverdoor, who in some thread that I’m too lazy to track down dubbed any simple ascending pentatonic riff “the Pigfarmer Jr” intro, or similar. So I kinda had to do it.

Heh!!! That sleepysilverdoor is a troublemaker for sure. I've taken to do the anti pigfarmer jr riff just to change it up. Downward pentatonic riff intros for me. (I'm only slightly kidding.)

A day late, but at least I met the optional challenge. This was one of those times when I was happy with the instrumental and then managed to ruin it with my vocal.

In with a tune that ended up with a stripped-down high life feel, 3-part harmonies, and meets the optional challenge if shaker counts as acoustic and marimba vsti counts as electronic.
