Pigpen, listen up. "Niggas" is not "wet." "Niggas" lost EVERY SINGLE THING THEY OWN in many cases, and in most cases, "niggas" lost everything except their lives. To joke that they're "wet" is just really immature at best.

It's not quite as bad as making a video about the holocaust titled "Niggas is Skinny," but it's in the same vein. Do yourself a favor and think about why everyone here is calling you an asshole. Chances are, we have a point.

ps- the song didn't suck. It's even a little catchy. The lyrics and the video however, sucked ass.

You may perceive that it's negative because it has images of New Orleans, but the song's theme, if you had to even place one on it, is niggas being wet. Are you disputing this? People have died, lost everything, and you're talking about how wet they are. YOu are equating their situation to a pair of panties. Next, when people tell you that it is offensive, for various reasons, you call those who disagree a racially discriminatory name. You then seem to think that modifying definitions of these words some how excuses your behaviour or makes it "right". You also continue to respond. It is clear that you are bothered by people's response to your work. Largely distateful, but its a hell of alot better than some sentimental crap ala Michael Jackson style. But the hurricane is a serious stituation, expect people to get kind of pissed off when you trivialize it.

Opinion Time: When a person is as ignorant as PiGPEN, they won't gain attention for anything until they begin making things for shock value.

PiGPEN: This took you three days? I'd be more impressed if you dashed this off in an afternoon. The song really isn't very good: The music is insipid and the vocals are poorly preformed. The last chorus really drags. This is still the best Pigpen song I've heard to date. Not particularly witty, although the "Nawlins wants to be the next Venice, wet T-Shirt contests 24/7" line is clever in a mean-spirited way. 3/10
