Would you enjoy a punch to the face for not liking South Park?

I finally listened to your cover of 'America F**K Yeah!'

CUTE... it's cute...but it lacks the magic of the original. Yours is almost like...for real. *SMILEY*

I finally got around to seeing this - and it is quite simply one of the greatest movies ever made.

I loved every minute of it - the songs, the vomiting puppets, the rooting puppets, the panthers - it was just awesome.

And Sober - your cover of the theme is brilliant! It makes me want to go out and single-handedly invade New Zealand.

Saw this a while back. I have no idea how to explain how happy I was to see this movie. I love just about everything Trey and Matt have done, and I love things that have that 'hand made' quality to it. You could just tell there was so much thought put into every part of the movie.

Bought the DVD, and watched the extras. Very interesting to see Trey and Matt talk about the idea of the movie, about the reasons they did what they did. Also good to see that there was no digital elements at all. All effects were done on camera. So when you saw them blow up the Louve, they blew it up (in miniature... of course)

i tried to watch it, but every 30 seconds i found myself wanting to be somewhere else or doing something else, and then i kinda zoned out for the entire middle, and then the monologue at the end was OK.

maybe this movie is a lot better in theaters. it was just soooooo overblown and sooooooo obvious at every possible opportunity that it never captured even minimal interest.

maybe i've seen too much south park and watched too much CNN.

that was sort of the point of it actually. I too watched a lot of south park and CNN. It's supposed to be obvious...sort of a living charachater (sp?) of America itself with obvious overblown sentiment.

I especially loved vomiting and love making puppets.

All I know is that the uncensored version is pure, unadulterated dirty XXXX porn and I have no idea how they ever got away with it in the theatre even without the poo moment. Pure genius to actually give shock value with plastic marionettes. To see the movie for that one insane moment is worth it although I found myself meandering while watching most everything else in it.
