Jim, I noticed that 2004 is poorly represented in there...did you not do much listening that year? Otherwise, nice work! (aside from the glaring omission of redcar...)

I have implemented a solution to this problem in the actual archive. Lemme know what you think.

That works better. I 've had a few people that I've pushed to the archives tell me they couldn't figure out how to listen to tunes... these are not computer people, or those that work on them, but have them in there homes for normal recreational purposes..you get my drift hopefully.
I know this isn't the suggestion thread, but the topic is here, so what about putting a simple "key" that says click "speakersymbol" to listen , click "page icon" for more info about a fight or fighter?
OR some such thing. I've explained this thing to others...they get confused.
and yo Jim... thanks in advance for putting a complete SFO on your web... where's it gonna be?

I like this format, just as much as the old one anyway, and I can see how it would help people out.
I happened to notice that the link to A Boy and His Dog from the Mountain Home fight is messed up. The link from the artists page is fine.

the new archive links are cute, spud. i didn't think the old method was an undue burden, but i can see how some people might.

Yeah, I put a key on there, too. Some people need more help than others, blue.

Yeah, pretty much any band name in the format "A xxxxxx" is gonna mess up, currently. I'll have to look and see what I did differently with song titles that are like that, because they work properly.

what i meant is that the click on songtitle takes you to a page that looks a lot like the sf archive page, but has less songs. just thought it might be nice, on the index page, to know how many songs you picked, out of how many in the original fight... maybe that's useless info, but it sounds interesting to me anyway.

I like Vincent's picks better.

My whole picks thing has been sidelined. I decided to put the whole thing into a database. Then I decided I should make an app that lets me download and listen to and rate and otherwise digest all the songs, and then make my picks page actually pull from that database. So now I'm working on a web app that will let the user make somesongs-esque ratings of songs and such. It'll be a few weeks. I'm actually getting paid to build this thing, as I'm chocking it up to learning about .Net 2.0 and C# and SQL 2005 and all that there stuff.
