I like dogs, but I gotta go with "cats." Wow! This is much more one-sided than I would have expected.

I voted "cat" but I like both. Or, well, I like big dogs. Little dogs seem to often have “issues.â€

I'd say cats ... dogs are really needy. They're nice, but kind of gross sometimes ... cats are more refined, and seem better to me.

cats aren't pets, they're visitors or aquaintances or teenagers (this isn't a hotel ya know!!!!!)
or sumpin along those lines
dogs are yer friend
also, i reckon singers and guitar players would have cats cause they don't really care about anybody else and neither do cats......vain and self serving ???? heheheh (tho i have dogs, i play guitar and (try to) sing)
drummers and bass players would have dogs, drummers would have crazy cross breed one eyed mangy tailed critters and bass players would have big ole soppy dogs
keyboard players would probably have robotic fish

Dogs are clearly better. More meat on the bones, less hair to clean off, and they roast well. Plus, the flavour is rather intriguing.
