I had the immense honor to see AC/DC at the Glasgow Apollo October 1979 (Apollo was an awesome concert venue widely used for recording live rock albums of the 70-80's due to audience reaction and general vibe).

This was 5 months before Bon's death.

I swear I am NOT in this picture but I did find it online of the actual event!

Check this out for an awesome wish list of dream concerts

We were sat just below the balcony on the right of main orchestra seats. The balcony moved...I kid you not it was mobile!!!! :-) Hapy Happy Happy times![/img]

Hmmm.

Motorhead, circa 1980 (when it was Lemmy, Fast Eddie, and Philthy)
Black Sabbath, circa 1972
David Bowie, circa 1973 (Aladdin Sane tour)
Sex Pistols, of course. 1977
Nirvana, whenever.

An interesting note to this: I could have seen Nirvana play in Calgary in late 1991 (I think?) Me and some friends were in the city to see Metallica play (I had won tickets in a radio promotion) for their 'Black Album' tour. After the concert, we hit the club strip, and one club we went in had 'Nirvana' on the billboard. None of us had heard of them, and there was a cover charge, so we... decided to go to a strip club instead.

It was only like 5 bucks cover charge, too.

About 2 months later, one of my punk rock friends lent me the 'Bleach' CD and said 'Oh man, you gotta check these guys out'

i've yet to see the flaming lips live. i just watched them on a rerun of austin city limits, and i must say that they appear to have one of the greatest shows out there.

so add the flaming lips.
