These are awesome, Niv! I have taken to running my SF entries past my 3 year old. She liked Applesauce Baptism (mainly just because she likes applesauce). Tonight, she was be-bopping to Rate of Decay.
When it was done, she broke into a Backyardigans song. (
"secret agent on a secret mission...")
Kids are cool.

Niveous wrote:"We Are Perfect in Our Dreams": "Too Loud". I guess M doesn't like clipping. He doesn't like it. Sings the WonderPets theme to the beat, making me laugh.
Final Score: 1 out 3. @electic spoons fail the M Test.
Only just found this, that is so cool, I just have to do a murderous cover of the Wonderpets theme. (whatever that is)
I hope those kids are okay, 'specially after listening to 'Dreams'

It's Take your Kids to work day and I'm here with M and we are going to listen to some more songfight music and M is gonna to tell me what he thinks of the music (we'll be joined by T later).
Okay, we're going to start off with Glenn Case:
"Hopeless":
When I asked what he thought of the song M said "Put on a different song". He didn't like it much, even though it's from a video game show.
"Georgia's Hand"
It was a shaky start but it gets a M seal of approval. He says that he likes everything about the song.
"A Week Without Ears" (f/ Add & Blue)
Max says he would feel bad not having ears. That's why he doesn't like the song. He would miss hearing.
Sorry Glenn. 1/3
Next- The Cow Exchange:
Max approves of the band name.
"Capsaicin"
Max says that he loved it.
Niv: Do you know what that song was about? It was about aliens
Max: Stealing a cow?
"Some Handsome Hands"
Max enjoyed it. I told him that I wrote the song. He seemed unimpressed.
"Saving Throw"
Max liked that one too.
Niv: That song was about a superhero who's a towel.
Max: (laughs hysterically)

T has returned so he's going to take a listen to some SF tunes.
First, MC Frontalot:
"Living at the corner of Dude & Catastrophe"
T says that it's so/so. I tell T what it's about and T looks on in confusion while M worries that Todd would get eaten because he passed out on the grill.
"Goth Girls"
M likes the beat. He then asked "There are some words that aren't really words". M is suspicious of Front's flow. T says that it was so-so-so. T is hard to please today.
"Yellow Lasers"
M notes "Wookie!". T says so-so-so-so-so. T notes the lack of clone troopers in a song full of Star Wars references.
0/3. The kids aren't down with Front.

Yes and the kinderlings are about to listen to a random splattering of SF music:
"Applesauce Baptism" by Those Meddling Kids
Both children look on in an utter state of confusion. Toby says it was weird. Max says it was good. T would not ride a moose through the desert. M wouldn't go chimney diving but he likes the song.
"All Tan" by Caravan Ray
Max immediately says that it's "so weird". T says that it's so(x20) but he likes it. Finally T agrees with M that the song is weird. "It isn't really much of a song" says T. M is just plain bored.
"Are Friends Acoustic?" by Niveous
By request, the kinderlings want to hear something that I recorded. M likes the "guitar noises". The kinderlings love it! I have survived the kinderling critical panel.
"Rappers we crush" by Kompressor and MC Frontalot
M says that this is so(x100) good. T says some of the words in this song aren't words. This is the second time one of the kids says that. The kids are split on who would win in a fight between the two.

"Take a Pill" by Brainpipe
Weird x 20 says T. M is currently in protest against the music. I'm not sure if its protest against Brainpipe or just in general. The day is getting long and they are getting ornery.
After getting goodies bags....the kids are not in a musical mood. I guess we will do more on another day.
