And the keyboardist is playing bass notes, and the drummer is playing bass/low toms. It's so great.

This is absolutely a must-see. But then, I would also say that all musicians should be familiar with a crazy little group called the Beatles, and I remember how much controversy that stirred up last time around.
The DVD has some great outtakes.

the latest guitar world (i think it's the february next year issue) features a great interview with the band (the interview is several years old, from whenever that was that they had a "reunion tour" or whatever and a new album) and also a great guitar lesson with nigel tufnel. fans of the movie are advised to rush out to their local barnes and noble (or wherever) and check it out! (and then put the magazine back, don't bother buying it -- pretty much the whole issue is just a celebration of twenty-five years of guitar world history.)
