I guess in this situation historic is both right and wrong. I prefer to consider it ret-con.

Just for the fun of it. If not then I might do it for the fun of it if my life would give me some freakin' time to do any music these days. I want in for this one.
I, for one, accept. Go 'head and post rules, deadlines, locations to post .wmv or whatever. Imma go 'head and allow Eraserhead to be the Influential Film here. Hate me now. You know you want to.

Should there be a deadline? Videos can take a long time to make, and music videos can take longer. I think it would be awesome to just keep posting videos for as long as we want. It would be cool if we could make songs for this one past the deadline for our films as well.

You could make a musical.

Or you could make a short silent film and score it.

Totally. Maybe for this one, use a trailer for an "Influential Film, and score it, or use it for inspiration? It'd be quick and dirty. :P

I think making videos using Songfight! songs as scores would be an excellent add-on to the Fight! Maybe a side-fight to create a viddie for one of the three winning songs from the previous week?

e.g. -
Square Fight: - Had It Up To Here - Roymond

Circle Fight: - Hit By A Train - Hostess Mostess

Triangle Fight: - What A Horrible Thing To Say - Lonbobby

Ah, this is like the good ol days. I do remember 1 fight SongFight, and the nostalgia is making my brain ache.

Perhaps I'll give this a go for old times sake.

I finished mine. It's my first entry for a fight with real drums, but the vocals are pretty bad. I guess that's just how it goes. I'm won't be here to hear the songs or vote though, as I'm leaving for most of the summer on Monday. I might be at my house on weekends though, so I might have a chance to have a listen before the votes are in. Good luck to everyone involved in this one.

I have a good idea for this one and absolutely no time to record this week...I might write it anyway because I've been on a political song kick lately.

so I'm out. but if I do record one, I'll make sure to share it somehow.

all for now,

Sausage Boy is in. I have discovered I am very, very unpractised in SongFighting, but I fought through all that to deliver my usual bass heavy and slightly muffled entry.

How can you still have ideas left so soon after Cable beach? That's insane. I wish I was that creative ...

Damn it!

I'm out of this one. And I really liked the song I'd written, too.

well i put an entry in.... but it was pretty late. Recorded last night and finished it up this morning. Another example of radical mediocrity from mr. lostman. Hope it makes it into the fight. :)

Alas...I could not fit in the time to even start this one, let alone get this it done....I think the extra weekend was the only reason I got the CB song complete. So I'll have to sit this one out.

But I might record my Influential FIlm idea anyway for kicks.
