Pretty much all of these photos turned out amazing. You actually took shots of me that I like. You seem to have a very good eye for taking pictures. Thank you for doing so.
ROCK!

Yeah, very nice pictures, Heidi. Your camera is obviously more forgiving of low light than mine - mine (DSC 707, I think) is also notoriously bad at overcapturing red tones. But I'm sorta glad to see that things got redder and redder for you as the night went by, too
The shots on flickr are fairly small pixel-wise - will there be a way to purchase / obtain higher-res versions of selected shots? Or is it there and I'm just missing it? I'm coming in as a guest, not as a flickr member, but I think I went to somebody else's flickr site and pictures were available in multiple resolutions there.
Thanks for what's up so far! Hoping you got a useable shot or two of Blue Spud Shoes in the livefight!

there should be a picture, "all sizes," accompanied by a magnifying glass.

I'm pretty sure you have to be logged in to see that icon, though, and the larger sizes.

Yeah, the darker it got outside, the more the red showed up inside.
And if you let me know which shots in particular you want high-res versions of, i'll email them to you. the originals are just slightly better than how they look on flickr. i wish i knew why things are darker and duller once you upload them there, even if it is slight.

Some of my pics have gone up here.

I have many more to put up, but I have reached my limit for the day. Perhaps it's time to take Heidi's advice and finally buy the Flickr pro.

^ OK, I ran out of time on the cafe's computer so I'm just finished looking now ... and ...
Wow, lots of great photos.
Some highlights for me:
From Bjam ...
Her green bunny tagging along
Obey the red light!
Cool black and white
From King Arthur ...
What's up with my guitar?
Scream!
Last-minute practice
Cayuga! Cayuga!
From Jefff ...
Mystery Spot fun!
Glenn rules
From Heidi ...
I really loved all of your pix. They are awesomely crisp for being in such a low-light setting.

More coming for Night 2 yet? Just a few here ...
Glenn and Rachel!
Prayformojo has the moves ...
And Ken Flagg brings the emotion
Bagel finale!
And those are just a few I really liked. I love how so many people took pix!!
(Sorry if this got a tad bit deep for a post
)

thanks for the lovely comments, tawny! i posted a very small handful of night 2 on flickr. the rest of night 2 are stuck on jefff's computer because he was nice enough to store them there for me to free up space on my memory card. he's been trying to send me a zip file of them since last week but it keeps timing out, for some reason. hopefully we'll figure out that problem soon enough and i'll put night 2 up!

I've got about half of Night 2 on flickr now. There's still more coming, but I think there's enough on there now to be worthy of a post.

please enjoy them! jefff went through hell to get them to me so that i could put them online!

This is what one of Heidi's photos looks like if you run it through Photoshop's "Auto Levels" function:

maybe i'm completly clueless (which may or may not be beside the point) but is there a way to download the pictures from flickr?

It appears that some useful features, such as viewing the different (including full/original) sizes of the pictures, and probably therefore downloading those sizes of the pictures, aren't accessible until you log in.
