You have to go to the messages thing, then the send message option or whatever it's called, and go back one page. Your number is displayed there. Seems a little bit UNintuitive, which is odd considering how fluid and wonderful the rest of the system is, but whatever. You should certainly post yours though! We could be Wii friends!
Am I rockin' hard, or hardly rockin'?

I've already added everyone who's posted their friend code to this thread, and am just waiting for reciprocation.
By the way, is it just me or does a lot of the music which is in the system channels sound like Fantastic Plastic Machine? Mii channel and Everyone Votes in particular.
Also, the help cat is fun to catch. He's not NEARLY as hard as the various websites talking about him indicate though. I also had no trouble mastering the Wiimote either.
I so love this system!
(Uh, anyone want to buy my almost-brand-new GameCube? I bought it while getting sick of waiting for Wiivailability and I figured I'd keep on playing my GC games when I did finally get a Wii - which turns out to be the case, as I have a lot of GC gaming goodness to finish, and also the Wii actually improves GC games since it has component output and 480p support, which was removed from the GC after about a year on the market. So anyway now Wind Waker and Metroid Prime 2 both look FABulous on my brand new 40" 1080p HDTV.)

they don't seem to show up in the parade very often.
i sent my mii to you directly using the friend thing in the mii channel.
i gotta say, it made my day to see the little Jim mii cheering me on when I was bowling earlier.

Oh, I wonder if maybe Jim sent me his that way too. I only remember getting one message from him and it didn't have a Mii attached though. Is there some other way of sending a Mii which doesn't involve a text message? [EDIT] Never mind, found it.
Also, the Help Cat (in the photo channel) is really fun. Especially with how nebulous and vague its hints usually are.
