We should probably cancel the Spokane date if it's just me and Ken. I am also not sure that I will be able to secure a venue.

I have quite a few trips that I have to make this year, so I'm not postiive that I will be able to even be part of this. I will at least try to be there for Seattle.

ROCK!

Well, we were planning to come. Guess we should have been more vocal. Sounds like Moscow is off as well. Damn. The tour is getting shorter every day. Maybe we should talk to the Suzies.

Here's a big conditional:
If you, Glenn, could arrange a Spokane date that's 18+/all ages and can't make it to Seattle, I'd come to the Spokane date too. That would be myself, Octothorpe, Ken, yourself, and any other local bands you know that would book the date. Else (if you can't find an 18+/all ages venue, or can come to Seattle) I'd say, I suppose, skip it. But then this is a somewhat Marcus-centric view to take of things. As the Moscow date would be just those bands less Ken and probably yourself, and the venue I'd most like is unavailable on Sundays, I guess it'll be a strictly West Coast tour and nothing in the inland Pacific.

Aye yi yi! Well, the augmented Primitive Screwheads are willing for the PDX-Seattle-Spokane leg (sorry Marcus, but we've got to take the ±8 hr drive back to PDX to make it to our respective jobs/airports on the proposed Moscow day for the j-o-b-s and stuff come that monday. Yay for the iron leash? :( ). At the very least, one show with Gleeeen in the audience so we can brutalize D3's "Back From Brazil" for him would be groovy-cool.

Spud, what's #'s stance on a Portland performance?

And for that matter, Mico? Dr. Waters, et al? I've got a little floor space for the cheap living arrangements, if it becomes necessary... or even just plain convenient.

And yeah, still working on a venue here. The initial one just changed ownership, but there's still optimism. And plenty of backups.

YES YES YES, we are in for Portland. We were planning to do the "one on each side" plan that was proposed, but now it looks like we may be the end of the road. So Portland, yes, definitely. That means you can probably expect sockpuppet as well, based on a previous post.

Zipline is very interested in the tour but divided. Sammy (the Prisoner, drummer) wants to do the whole thing. I want to do the whole thing, but I'm still working out the time off issues, I can certainly do the Bay Area and Weekend shows, but San Diego and Portland might be tough. Martyr is down for the Bay Area shows only.

So we can pretty much commit to the Bay area shows, then the other shows there's me the guitarist and Sammy the drummer happy to sit in with anyone whom needs or wants us.

Ken, please change the Portland leg from the generic entry to "The Bitter End Pub" in Portland, OR on the myspace page. Thanks!

The place just changed owners, so I don't know how up they are on updating the web site, but that's the place. Heh.

Gee, I was just going to point you to the cleaned up stereo version of skyline here: http://www.spewgrass.com/music/sampler/ ... kyline.mp3 , but it sounds like you don't need it...

What, you mean we actually have to practice these charts?!?

Hi all,

Yes, Zipline will be in full effect for the Bay Area, and I would love to zip down or up the coast for other shows, but I don't really have a full mobile band to play with. Like Glenny said, guitar and drums for hire, but with so many great musicians in those cities, you should all do just fine.

I suppose this is our chance to not worry about vocal pops or clipping, or instruments too low in the recording and instead just play our damn music, right? So are you saying that all of those songs we improvised in odd meter we now have to practice and commit to long-term memory and then perform in front of a small to medium-sized crowd . . . sounds great, where do I sign up!

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Sam

This is a promo one-sheet I puked together for the propogandizing and such. It goes hand in hand with a demo CD. Feel free to use and abuse, heh.

Erin and I bought our plane tickets for Seattle. So we're definitely in for that show, and definitely out for Portland and points beyond Seattle. Does anybody have a round up of who's definite for where? And who's still a maybe?

How about the plus+5 version of "Birds Of Our Own?" It's great false advertising.

Actually anything that I've posted on sockpuppet.us would be fine.

In order to get tickets on the cheap I had to go ahead and plan my trip.
(Were only a month away!)

Unfortunately since the San Diego, San Luis Obispo, and Berkeley shows hadn't been nailed down I had to plan to skip those.

I will be at these shows: LA, Portland, Seattle
Looking forward to it...

I'm sorry to say that things are not looking promising for some of these dates. I'm gonna work on a couple of things though.

Hi folks,

Well, it looks like it is going to be a scaled down tour after all. Let's start promoting the shows we have.

Again, it would help if everyone who plans on playing at the three shows booked were to say they were in for each show and gave a sample track for a compilation CD to be left at the venue with show info.

Spud, I think we can leave the other dates on the poster to make it seem like a bigger deal than it is.

Comments?
