Yes, please bring an acoustic/electric. Unless Mico Saudad is bringing his?

Are we covered for guitar amps? I'd like to bring as little gear as possible on this leg of the trip, but will be glad to bring whatever is needed.

Thanks again, fluffy.

2 guitar amps will be on stage in Portland, Ken.

Apparently there is only one guitar amp in all of Seattle and it belongs to fluffy. Anyone bringing one?

I'm hoping to (maybe?) borrow an acoustic for my set so that I don't need to subject people to sitting through a tuning change... I may try and catch up with you PDX guys pre-show to discuss possibilities!

(Oh! And I put a little soundhole pickup in my sigma acoustic...so people may use that option if they are so inclined...)

Hey, Auntie... fluffy's bringing an acoustic/electric down for the pdx show's backline (thank you, fluffy!) and there's an uncomfortable ovation acoustic/electric already here as backup.

So I'd say your on stage strumming needs are covered.

There's rehearsal availablity at my place tomorrow all day (up until a little before showtime, of course) should you want to come hang out and meet the freaks in residence... and shanghai backing musicians, heh.

Edit: Spud, no hard confirms on Puce, &c. bringing guitar amps? Can haul one from here if nesc.

I only have a Fender Frontman 25R, but I can bring it if we need it. Maybe it could be mic'd if the volume is insufficient.

I don't know about Bitter End, but Spot's is a pretty small place and an unmic'd acoustic has a hard time filling the room.

Between the Ibanez and the Ovation I don't think anyone will be wanting for the Fender though.

I'm sorry; I don't understand what you mean.

What I mean is I'm an idiot who assumed that you were talking about your guitar, not an amp.

Heh. That makes more sense than any interpretation I could divine.

Anyway, I guess I'll just... bring it... and we can use it if we need to.

Good Morning from Portland!

When will the Octovan be getting here?

We are leaving Seattle at 2-ish. Spud feels that this will get us there with enough time left for us to coordinate. Since he is the one driving I will take his word for it.

Spud and Fluffy are coming in the Octovan? Just like a couple Superhero's.
Spud (aka Baskin, when help is needed) >> Image Image<< Fluffy (aka Robbins, whenever Baskin says, "to the Octovan boy blunder"
The adventures of Baskin and Robbins. Spud trys out his new refrigerated utility belt with all 31 flavors and keeps having to slap Fluffy's hand every time he reaches for his chunky monkey.

To be continued......

Groovy. Southbound from the stateline is smooth sailing.
