I listened to each one individually, and it wasn't too bad. I had a couple stops towards the beginning, but most of the songs loaded just ahead of them playing.
I have cable, by the way. Not sure about speed and all that googabite intro'web mish mosh.

this isn't the same problem we had before. at least the sf webserver is doing full-speed transfers to itself now.

I'd take a screen cap, but I have no idea how to do that on a Mac, as I have only just started using one a couple months ago and haven't needed to do that yet.

Apple-Shift-3 to take a whole screen screen shot, Apple-Shift-4 to take a screenshot of a selected portion of the screen. I would take one but it would just be the same as Jack's, basically.

You could also just use the included utility program "Grab", which is really intuitive, but if you're impatient you can learn the key shortcuts. Macs don't even have "Print Screen" keys. I wonder what percentage of Windows users actually know that the "Print Screen" key will take a screenshot? It sounds more like it would print out your screen to your printer to me, but whatever.

they moved the domain to a different httpd process, which seemed to improve it for some people.

but you guys really need to help me fix this, by providing nice clean screenshots or traceroutes or something-- tech support for this kind of thing is always hard to get.

Don't worry about that 1 * * * request timed out line. That just means your ISP has a router which doesn't respond to ICMP ECHO, which is pretty common.

Also somesongs doesn't actually host files, it just provides links to them. You should download something from songhole.org so you're getting it from the same baseline server as Lunkhead and me, just to be ultra anal and precise, but really any fast server which isn't songfight.org works for this purpose since we're just demonstrating that songfight.org is having bandwidth issues.
