KA will be in this week, if all goes well. I did the tracks and had a friend do the mix (fightmasters: the track will arrive from a different email address than usual, if you notice such things). Kind of an oddball song, I expect to get slaughtered in the voting, but the friend who is doing in the mix would appreciate mix-related review comments. We hope to be doing this fairly regularly so he can get some feedback on his mixes.

I am planning on being in. Hoping to get my lyrics done and my arrangement complete.

Klownhole is in. Instead of Hans Blix, Donald Rumsfeld stops by to do a guest vocal spot.

I hope I get mine in on time. I have to finish up the mix and final touches in the morning. It's kind of different from my norm. Kind of a bluesy punky tune with a funky beat.......uh, yeah.

3 am, still not done............. whoo hoooooo !!!! this is what i get for my friends last minute 'lets do the this weeks song' today.

I had written a cool song for this title.
But Sunday night I had two options,
Record the song, or go see the Decemberist.

The Decemberist were GOOD!

Once again, couldn't find time to record this week's fight, which sucks worse because it was written less than 48 hours after the title was posted. So quickly, in fact, that I wrote another as a backup in case I couldn't get the more elaborate one recorded -- and couldn't find time for that one either.

So here are the lyrics for the simple one; don't have time to type the more elaborate one in right now, but I'll do it later (just so I can feel like they weren't a complete waste of time.)

So I wander onto this site for the first time four hours before the deadline. Three hours later the song was on its way to the FM. Dunno why, but this title really grabbed me.

Yeah, I'm excited about this week -- should be good. The title is certainly inspiring -- angst, deception, should get those creative juices flowing!

Sorry to hear the Minty Handy entry that started the pre-thread didn't make it in?! It was good touring with you man! Great songs.

Zipline was in post-tour detox mode, so my entry bit will be on an Indie Martyr offshoot called "Monte Carlo" this week.

Glenny was off on the east coast as Paco del Glinco.

I like to finish mine 30 minutes before it's due. I find it exciting.
