I have a John X. Ambrosavage original. I didn't pay him anything for it at the time, but I did buy him a $1 Pabst pint a month ago. I also have five or six concert posters; two Decemberists, one Built to Spill, one Rilo Kiley, one Velella Velella/Point Juncture WA (autographed by VV), one Wet Confetti (autographed). Plus a few Song Fight! posters. Band posters rule. link to my collection of links of band poster artists. screenprinted. Great bands, great graphic design, mostly just $20 and suitable for framin'. Oh yeah!
edit: Oh, I thought the question was about collection. I too like Warhol, or at least a lot of his ideas. Duchamp, too. And Lichtenstein, a whole lot. Jim Woodring's really great: his blog. I got to see Manet's Bar aux Folies-Bergeres at the Getty, with PFM, this summer, and that was really righteous. Oh, I should mention Matthew Barney, too, who's from Boise, Idaho, and mostly uses the medium of film... really great stuff.
