Yeah, I know it's late. Whatever.

Thanksgiving coincided this year with my Golden Birthday (22 on the 22nd). The next time my birthday will coincide with Thanksgiving will be in 2012, when I will be 27, and then the time after that will be in 2018, when, on 11-22, I'll be 33. One of the little things that makes me happy I live in a country that does dates backwards.

My grandfather knew a guy in WWII who was absolutely livid when he realized that, in Europe, his DOB was no longer 12/3/45, but rather, 3/12/45. The weird things we pick to be vain over.

QOTD: I had an early Thanksgiving dinner with my mom's side of the family. Then I had a late Thanksgiving dinner with my dad. Slept at least fourteen hours out of twenty-four. Wonderful stuff.

Did he have a time machine or something?

For some, the war is not over.

Funny how I never questioned that math. :?

Maybe I'm misremembering the story and he was upset that they got his birthday wrong for the one time it was EVER going to fall on 12/3/45. Or something.
