I can't imagine what both Mark and Ray went through with their parents sicknesses and I would not wish such a circumstance on anyone. It looks like Mark was pretty young as well, which probably didn't help things much. My dad was sent to a hospital on a Friday, and checked out, for good, the following Monday morning. While I wish he was still around, I'm glad that he didn't end up in some long term horrific state, both from a selfish perspective and for him as well. My mom says "I'm just going to drop dead one day", and I always tell her that I'm going to hold her to it. Just not too soon, I hope.
