If you gauge liberalism and conservatism as relative to the middle, you can use that assessment to judge the amount of differentiation in population's beliefs from the norm, I suppose. Or you can look at whose viewpoints have historically become more popular in later years. That's the basis of my "liberalism is, over a large enough scale of time, always on the rise" statement.

Ha, they have meetings at New World Brewery here the last wednesday each month. Thats a very cool beer bar down the street a ways from where I work on 8th st. in Ybor City. (which is just a fancy name for that particular historic district in Tampa) (oh, and it's pronounced eeeebore not whybore)

I have alcoholics anonymous meetings in a similar location, at least once a week.


We are alcoholics. We go there so we can anonymously drink our faces off. We also believe taxation of the lower middle class is a crime.
