The obvious response is "wife fart".

We name a famous person in many of our songs. Not all of them are actors, though.

Famous people appearing in Octothorpe songs lyrics:

Gary Oldman
Bill Gates
Kevin Bacon
Larry Tate
Darrin
Pat Boone
Count Basie
Duke Ellington
George W. Bush
Howard Dean
Sandy Duncan
Peter Falk
Sammy Davis, Jr.

There may be more subtly hidden in there that I am not aware of.

Like me! Gentlemen, start your pandering!

Yeah, like anything rhymes with Garfunkel. Or Boylan, for that matter.

So, uhh, how come you haven't sent them a picture???

In other news, my Kick Start doesn't even include the word "heart." It does, however, use the phrase, "they call me King Art..."

Hmm, maybe I won't make it out of round zero...

I'll admit, my use of the challenge isn't fantastic, but it works. Problem though - the title inspired the song, but I'm having trouble working the words "kick start" into the song. They're not very poetic words.

That said, all guitar tracks (including a weak-sauce solo) and the fake bass have been laid down.

And tomorrow I probably won't have the day off.

Heh, that's where the challenge comes in, Charles. As to the picture, well... not so sure I'd want my face associated with the worst movie ever made. Having it associated with my music is rough enough.

I'm writing the most sarcastic trash rock ever. Dropping a celebrity actor/actress name into this song will be all too easy. I just have to 'pick' one of those activist types.

if you like almost-rhymes, 'boylan' kinda rhymes with 'annoyin'' - haha, i'm just kidding.

Serious technical difficulties in recording today. Might be out before we've even started!

When I email the song as a file attachement to nurein.sidefight@gmail.com, should I name the song file in the same format as Songfight uses (mcericb_ks.mp3) ?

If it's not already determined, I suggest this mod:

mcericb_nurein_ks.mp3

It'll help me with organization on my machine :-)

"Significant Name Drop of an Actor/Actress" means to use the name of an actor/actress somewhere in your song.

I can't seem to get a good mix on my song. It's very frustrating.

EDIT: I got a useable one. I'm sending it in. My actors are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I call her Angelina Jo in the song for the sake of poetry though.
