I just spent 3 hours doing vocals for this. Holy hell ... I forgot how much I hated recording. I love writing, I love buying equipment, I love mixing. I hate recording the tracks. Hate it hate it hate it.

On a lighter note, mine will be non-blasphemous as well. I think it's pretty close to 2:42 in length too, so ... be ready for a hit. Hopefully mixing goes well tomorrow.

I love recording! It is the best bit. Love it love it love it. I like writing too, I suppose (though nowdays I rarely actually write anything down - I do the writing while the mics on recording - then re-record later), I hate mixing, and I really hate buying gear

The mix didn't sit well ... again! Ah, I guess it happens when you're working with new techniques. It's rendering right now, and soon enough I'll get to master again! WOOHOO.

I have learned my lesson from past fights: don't say "I'm in" until the song is actually recorded and submitted.

It does not matter. It might matter (a little) if it happened two fights in a row.

Alrighty, I'm in. This track sounds sorta like Sade, but without any of the sex appeal.

I hope I don't get docked points for recording on microcassette.

the possible artwork for this fight completely fits my obama themed tune.

AAAH. I submitted mine last night in a hurried state, but awoke this morning to a less than stellar mix. Sorry to all who have good mixing ears and listen to my song.

EDIT: PS - I won`t be doing reviews in the first few days because I`m out of town for the weekend. Sorry folks. I`ll try and get some done when I get back.
