Why obviously?

Hey jimmer..I'm in. I like this idea...though I'll request a later slot, as my wife is due any day now with our first child...so, like next week would be a bad choice for me.... :)

Thanks!

All that you know to this point will not apply from then on. Go with that and enjoy the ride!!! All the best.

Jim T and HipCola, you're both added to my list.

June, I've got no problem with instrumentals. Go for it, as long as it comes out of the previous week's bit. Of course, people may whine about it on the boards as always...

The first Songfight Orchestra entry will be found under "The Wrong Girl", and I did it. This coming week, Tonetripper (or redcar?) is going to submit the next chunk. Off we go....

Congrats, HipCola. I've been reamed for giving this advice to people before, but I really believe it, so I'm gonna keep on giving it: Parenting is not that hard. Relax. The famous challenges of raising a kid are exaggerated.

Parenting is not that easy. If it was, I would not have had the pleasure of meeting so many crude, nasty, unmotivated, and willfully ignorant children.

Out of pocket? What does that mean?

Well, I mean unavailable. It means unfunded, so with a wink perhaps it could mean unavailable ;-)

he. my first thought was "out of synch" as in when you're playing live and things are tight and clicking, you're "in the pocket"

Hey Thanks Roymond. Somehow I suspected that might be the case..that said, we must have every how-to baby book ever written, so if we are ever wanting for someone's advice on how-to, we should be able to get some right away.... ;)

And as for this Orchestra...TT may be flying solo on it, or it'll be TT and Leaf, as I doubt I'll be able to jump in on it.

Great idea, and Hipcola is definitely in for a track. Possibly as redcar, or not..'pending schedules...

Well I'll be. It even says it's used on the West Coast. I've never heard it used that way. I'll start trying it out and see what happens.

Roymond, I always feel so sorry for the person in your avatar.

Of course I am down with this. Just double-check with me first, so I can tell you if I have time during whatever week I get.

ROCK!

So this is an update for all you SFOers....... tt submitted on behalf of the contingent and is in for Ninja Gang. My inspiration is the Little Ninja done by the Ninja Gang. I used Jim's first submission in Cubase and found a way to tag on to the end to create a seamless duo of music. Merges nicely while still keeping with the content of the title. Stuck to the 11/8 and tried to riff off of the original chords without emulating the original song. Fun to do..... Good luck to the later victims. Any questions about where I left you or what I did don't hesitate to PM me or post in this thread about your needs.
