I'd watch it.

I don't know how successful the collaboration would be but the reality show would be pretty great. I'm kind of neurotic and if my vocals were needed to be added to something more conventional and traditional, they would need to be as perfect as the music was and that just wouldn't be attainable, so I imagine every 10 minutes of show footage would feature me claiming that the show is over, I'm leaving the show, I can't take it, I don't know what you people are trying to do to me but its done right this second, only for me to change my mind because I finish what I start.
Add in the fact that people who do things that I wish I could pull off or felt natural coming from me or whatever causes envy which leads to sabotage and stubbornness and the other portion of the show that isn't about how I'm leaving would feature ranting about how I'm being upstaged, like what the hell man, this is our song, not your song, which would probably segue back into me leaving the show.
Although its been a long, long time since I've even thought about collaborating with anyone and I've matured a lot since then, so maybe it would be different now. But at one point it was like the only people I could collaborate with were people I had no respect for and didn't value and then its like, what the hell are you doing on my track, you suck, get off my track, I can do all this myself anyway.
I've been all about my vision of things for so long that I can't even picture collaborating. Not having to come up with everything myself sounds nice though. I can't really comprehend how its possible but the idea of collaborating kind of sounds relaxing when I think about it. Although, maybe thats less collaborating and just having the other person do all the work and me just showing up and doing whatever. Now THAT, that sounds reeeeeeeally nice.
Probably only in theory. Because if something like that happened, I'd probably suddenly demand more control again.

I thought that saying "bad rap" was redundant, no? It would be like saying good tacos!

Yes, because the Mexican food in Connecticut is representative of what good tacos are like.

I'm not sure I understand what Connecticut has to do with the fact that Tacos are good... they taste good in Mexico, they taste good in China, they taste good in Connecticut too! It doesn't matter where on this beautiful earth you eat a Taco... it's always GOOD! San Francisco Tacos on the other hand... not too sure...

So you've been to Mexico and China?
...but yes, your redundant example works for me, because I've never "personally" had a bad taco. I've had some better than others, but none that would fit into the "bad" category.

qotd: things that have a hint of classic music in them, perhaps. Guess that would be interesting.

You, sir, have not been to the Lake City Bar and Grill.

Oh man I completely misread what you were saying. I thought you were implying that tacos were universally bad. My sarcasm detector has a hair trigger, especially when the "rolling eyes" smiley shows up. Oops.

I have had bad tacos in Aus. Mexican food is generally pretty bad in Aus. Probably sowething to do with the almost complete lack of Mexicans. Except for Sol Trujilo.
http://www.news.com.au/business/story/0 ... 62,00.html. But he doesn't make tacos. He just makes money. Mexico is welcome to take him back. I had a good taco in Santa Cruz. That is how I discovered that Aus tacos were bad.

John, what made me laugh about that is that my friend of 20 some years moved to New Zealand about a year ago. His wife is a Kiwi and she wanted to move back to be with her family. They have visited many times before the move, and Tom said their Tacos were terrible. They don't like corn tortillas and when they do have them, they are the artificial ground corn things shaped like a shell in a mold. We worked together quite often on the same jobs and he would talk up a storm about how he is going to open a fish taco joint when he moves to NZ. He is an excellent cook and makes some great Mexican food. Plus he is an avid deep sea fisherman. After making his authentic tacos for the family in NZ he realized one small problem....they don't like authentic Mexican food! He then realized it would take years to readjust their palates to the "real" thing. He said fuck it and started a swimming pool company just like he had here in the states.
....he's doing quite well, I might add. I'm considering an offer he gave me to come buy into a partnership with him. My wife said she doesn't like that idea and I told her that it doesn't matter what she thinks is a good idea because I'm not planning on taking her with me.

Orcs or not, NZ couldn't handle the two of you.
