I'm going to be doing a bi-weekly or slightly more frequent radio show starting this Saturday on KUOI FM 89.3 Moscow. 2-6 A.M. Pacific. I expect I'll be playing a number of Song Fight artists, though nobody will be listening. I'll update with playlists if they're wanted (but anybody that wants a playlist is probably somebody I won't be playing. No, just kidding. Only serious.)

I have no problem with anyone broadcasting my stuff.

I am not responsible if you get sued, though.

Not to sound too ass-like and presumptuous, but ... I see the Song Fight! archive as "opt-out" for non-profit, 400-watt local radio shows broadcast between two and six in the morning. Anybody that objects to me playing their stuff, speak now, and I won't play your music.

I think a couple of the guys at murderators.com would like to be played if you want to play the most hardcore rap ever

All right, so I have four hours, 2-6 A.M, tomorrow morning. I think what I'll do is play a half-hour or an hour of Song Fight! stuff. I'm going to be recording it and I think I'll put it up in hour-long blocks for podcasting. Watch this space.

roymond is to be played only if no one is listening. At least anyone I know.

What is your broadcast radius? Just wondering if you can be picked up in Sandpoint(e?)?

Our range is only 10 miles, I think, and Sandpoint's about a hundred miles north. Alas.

Mission Accomplished! (except that I somehow didn't get Octothorpe's Skyline burned... oh well, they'll get two songs next time)

Tracklist:
Ken's SDBNS - WAYMMKYO
JBB - Freeky Feelin'
Henrietta and the Hostage - Romantic Cheapskate
Starf - More than Soup
ADD - Do You Measure Up?
Glenn Case - Scared to Death
IRCAS - I Meant to Remember
Cashpoint - Elvis in Space
King Arthur - Truth About Aspartame
Michael Gum - ... In Bed
SOS - Toy Puddle
MYCC - Been to China
Brad Sucks - Borderline
15-16 Puzzle - Fire Bomb (his composition, his recording)
High Density - Space Cadet
Brother Machine - Foam Rubber
Kissing Contest - Last Words of Cotton Wool
Carol Cleveland Sings - Skeleton Dance
Hostess Mostess - Unless I Change My Mind
MC Frontalot - Charity Case

(the full playlist of my whole show is at this site)

It's around the middle of Hour 2 going through about the middle of Hour 3, I think. Yeah, Hour 2 at 35:20 or something through Hour 3 at 36:15 or so.

Also, the program I used to trim the mp3s without having to reencode them isn't working very well (MP3 Splitter and Joiner). Any recommendations?

Hour 1
Hour 2
Hour 3
Hour 4

So.. that besides. I don't think I have many more playlists in me. If anybody wants to compile playlists and send them my way I'll take a look at them and maybe play them-ish. Swears are okay. Make them about an hour long, no less than a half-hour and no more than eighty minutes. Try to avoid songs I've already played. Remixes and stuff from SongFighters that's not on SongFight is okay, so long as it's freely available (that is, no albumfight tracks or nerdcore rising non-free stuff or the like). I'll also be looking at Glenn's many recommends, and that kind of thing. But submit playlists (M3U format's good, it's just a text list of URLs so you can just send that over PM or you can send it to my email address).

Hey Marcus, that's my "Freaky Feelin'", not "Husky Youth".

You're right. It was correct on my LiveJournal, taken straight from the Winamp playlist, but here I was transcribing it from the CD and I heard that it was a JBB song and I forgot I went for that over "Youth" after hours of agonizing consideration.

Umm, wow, thank you! And one of my country tunes, too!

I guess now that I've got that pesky first songfight win out of the way, it'll be all fame 'n' fortune from here on in, right????

That's a really bad mistake.

Your homework is to look up who really did the original "My Sharona" - then write the lines: "The Kinks were not crappy one-hit-wonders" one hundred times.

Crap. Sorry. I knew that. I have the three-disc rerelease of The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society. I know that the Kinks aren't one-hit wonders. They are good.

wow, you have a seriously long-ass radio show. ours were only 3 hours, then 2, depending on which school you ask about. my first (shared) show "hamburger train" with my friend nick had a three-song set in the middle of every broadcast called "covers corner" but you took it a bit farther ;)
