I once went to a karaoke in Mount Isa that had Radiohead's Paranoid Android. It was the most sublime karaoke experience of my life - although my wife told me I am never, ever to attempt to sing that song in public again.

And I once received standing ovations at a karaoke in Townesville that had The Pixies' Monkey Gone To Heaven - obviously, my Black Francis immitation is far better than my Thom Yorke immitation.

I did Phantom of the Opera at a karaoke. I think this makes me a sad individual. A very geeky sad individual.

But I also did Rocky Horror so it all balances out

Side note: I lost a dollar on Charlie Daniels while watching the pregame show for the Superbowl. I bet a friend of mine he'd say 'son of a bitch' at the end of the song, but he didn't, the big wuss.

There is nothing like drunken karaoke. So much fun.

Perhaps at this year's SF Live we'll have the chance to do a drunken karaoke crawl through Beantown. That would be an event I'd long remember.
