God, i better get my watchlist up to date.
i think "the cow exchange" was a songfighter. i remember his "sister cocaine" for a nur ein years back was incredible. also "embers of autumn" and "elaine dimasi" are there. i really want to hear a paco fawm.

Yep. The Cow Exchange is Plat - tall, skinny dude with a food obsession.

This thread has prompted me to sign up over at FAWM. Participating in the actual challenge is definitely extremely challenging for me since February is also the month in which I start getting back into actually doing productive things full time. Still, if all else fails I'll just wing it by falling back on an AAD kind of schedule.

My intention for this year's FAWM is to collaborate on all 14 songs with other people. It feels pretty ambitious and I think I may be lucky to pull off 3 or 4 collabs, but I'm still gunna try! We can write in a variety of ways whether that be that I write the whole thing, or you write the music and I do the lyrics/vocals, or any other combination. I suppose it could even be that I make my usual demos and go ahead and post them on FAWM, then if anyone hears a tune they want to work on, you could contact me about that song in particular.

If anyone is interested, please PM me, and if you have a preferred way of approaching collabs, let me know that too and anything else that will save us time or ensure that we can work together in the best way possible. :D

I hope I can find the motivation. I haven't written anything in more than a month. Last year was my FAWM debut and I only did 2 songs. Arugh.

Well, I'll at least have a goal of reaching more than 2 this year lol.

FAWM!! (oh wait, wrong one  )
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

FAWM's finally here!

ps - wages - I'd like to collab, but to be honest I won't have the time - it's tough enough for me to finish a FAWM without working on another project too. Good luck to all you FAWMing SFers.

Elaine wins the unofficial first-songfighter-to-post-demo contest (and the unofficial first-FAWMer-to-post-demo contest, too!). I think I score for second place, though! At least in the Song Fight camp.

Any other Song Fighters here who I can watchlist? So far I've only added Song Fighters who posted a link in this thread.

Technically, I posted a song the morning of the 1st, but I only put it on SongFight. I'll go officially post it right now.
