I bet if you and I put both of ours together (I know what you're thinking, stop it!) we'd still only have a basic riff and the chorus line "lets get bloody", lol.Hoblit wrote:Yeah, I couldn't get mine recorded in any kind of time.Billy's Little Trip wrote:There will not be blood for B.L.Trizzle. 8)
Maybe next week, eh?

( I can't just 'stop it' , it doesn't work like that for me! )Billy's Little Trip wrote:I bet if you and I put both of ours together (I know what you're thinking, stop it!) we'd still only have a basic riff and the chorus line "lets get bloody", lol.Hoblit wrote:Yeah, I couldn't get mine recorded in any kind of time.Billy's Little Trip wrote:There will not be blood for B.L.Trizzle. 8)

Dirty jokes aside...my song is complete. Well, it's written acoustically...I didn't come up with any drums or bass or anything of that nature, but it is a full three verse / three chorus song. Well, the verses are barely two lines, with each first line being "Let's get bloody". Over a basic blues riff rhythm.
In fact, the more I think about it , you're right. It's just a couple of basic riffs and a few lines of "Let's get bloody" really.

What's you time like this week? I'll do drums and rhythm guitar and send it to you to do bass. Then we can both write a verse and sing it. Of course I have no idea how my week is going to be, but I really want to make some music and you and I haven't collaborated yet.Hoblit wrote: ( I can't just 'stop it' , it doesn't work like that for me! )

Actually, this upcoming weekend would be good for me as I'm on-call at work and can't really go 'out' ...at least not too far from a computer on the internet.Billy's Little Trip wrote:What's you time like this week? Cool, lets try it. As soon as the title comes up, I'll start on something, or if a riff hits you, send it over. Let's take this up on PM when the title goes up to agree on a direction to take it.Hoblit wrote:Actually, this upcoming weekend would be good for me as I'm on-call at work and can't really go 'out' ...at least not too far from a computer on the internet.Billy's Little Trip wrote:What's you time like this week? Well, I used the title for a hook line in a FAWM song:

And I think it could be something good, but no time to fix it for the fight.
Enjoy my newbie guitar playing if you can!
I'll try to be posting another one in a few days.
